Freedom Care was established in 2009, in response to the Black Saturday bush fires.

Whether you are low income, unemployed, under-employed, on a pension, or simply going through a tight patch –

we can help you with weekly food assistance.

Freedom Care will be closed on April 3rd due to the Easter weekend.

Position 2 - Driver / General Hand for 2-3 hours on a Thursday and occasionally on a Tuesday. Possible Wednesday in the near future.

Position 3 - All rounder to give a hand on a Saturday for 2-3 hours where ever needed on the day.

Opening Times

Tuesdays: 9.30am - 2.00pm

Wednesdays: 9.30am - 2.00pm

Thursdays: 9.30am - 2.00pm

Saturdays: 10.00am - 12.00pm

Thanks for Visiting!

Corona virus Notice

Freedom Care remains open at this point in time.

We do ask that you maintain social distancing and allow for a wait time on busier days due to a limited number of people within the food relief center at a given time.

Your patience is appreciated.

In accordance with the most recent guidelines from the DHHS (effective 26th of March )  masks are to be kept on ones person, but on a quiet day or if there is space between individuals you can take off your mask.

You will still have your temperature recorded and may be asked if your temperature reading is high (your body temperature will go up slightly with the warmer weather, but this is not a small change compared to having a mild fever).

Freedom Care is now taking donations again for our Op Shop.
